Post subject: | Hopefully I'll quit lurking |
Saw this link in a post on TPT. I've been lurking there for years as I never really thought my tanks were good enough to post, maybe I'll actually be more active here. I recognize a few names on here and think this is a great idea! I've been working (well planning in my head/procrastinating) on a network controller/monitor. I even made a webpage that turns an LED on/off with my arduino. Got an arduino mega to start playing with some more and eventually hope to have it useful. Been into computers/electronics for as long as I remember, taking apart old answering machine, boom boxes, tape players, etc. Went into computers, did some programming and now do network management for other companies. Tanks: 35 - Planted community? Just flor-a-something and general plans. Spiral CFLs in a DIY hood. Currently has Lemon Tetra and a single surviving Rainbos. Hope to be a 55 dirt if I ever get around to building the stand 15 - Dirt with BlackDiamond. Currently has a good number of 2 DPs, 4 Ottos, lots of low light plants, lots of BGA, GHA, BBA... I've been neglecting it SpecV - Dirt with BlackDiamond. Have 2 CPDs and 4 Green Neon Rasbora (Microrasbora Kubotai) along with a handful of RCS also a 3 and 10 gallon that I haven't taken down yet, and the other 55 outside. I may have caught MTS. Anyway I'm a little rusty on the actual electronics, generally take a try it and see what blows up approach, but I should be better with the programming. I'd be happy to contribute, and hopefully I'll get something of mine built to show you all what goes through my head. |
